Mike arrived at the CRC in January of 2017. He brings nearly 30 years of experience in communications for higher education, including marketing, periodicals, alumni relations, development and stewardship. Most recently, Mike was design director in the Advancement Division at Tufts University. There he was responsible for creative strategy, brand and visual identity, and communications design in support of fundraising, alumni relations, and special events. From 1987 to 2006, Mike was a designer and art director at Worcester Polytechnic Institute. While serving the entire university, the majority of his work was devoted to marketing communications for undergraduate admissions and the alumni magazine. At WPI, he developed a deep familiarity with engineering disciplines and topics in STEM. Mike now lives with his wife and sons on Massachusetts’ South Coast, where he enjoys the view of New Bedford harbor from the porch of his 165-year-old cottage.
