The United States Department of Agriculture- Foreign Agricultural Service (USDA-FAS) selected CRC to lead implementation of the five-year, $6.5 million Analytical Support Services and Evaluations for Sustainable Systems (ASSESS) Project in West Africa. The program is a collaboration among GSO, the College of Environment and Life Sciences, the College of Business Administration and the College of Engineering in partnership with Delaware State University as well as regional universities in West Africa. ASSESS provides analytical support services and evaluations for sustainable systems in agriculture, environment, trade and energy in West Africa. The program, awarded in April 2014, builds on CRC’s portfolio of work in West Africa and marks the first time CRC is working with the USDA.
