Project Preparation Facility 922 to Enable the Ecuador Coastal Proposal to Implement the IDB Loan Program

The Coastal Resources Center completed the design of key elements of the InterAmerican Development Bank (IDB) loan program that would fund the implementation of Ecuador’s Coastal Management Program (PMRC) and to prepare government staff to undertake the management of the three components of this Program.

This included:

  • design of the overall loan program’s Year-One work plan and budget
  • development of the operating rules and procedures for the PMRC
  • design of protocols for progress monitoring and evaluation
  • design of the shore management and Rio Chone estuary management tasks
  • development of training and extension programs.
