The first was associated with the pre-audit activities for Marine Stewardship Council (MSC) certification by Paul Medley et al., in 2008 using compiled export weights from the processing sector (Atlantic Seafood); the second was conducted by DeAlteris et al (2012) using length-weight data from the Atlantic Seafood and length frequency measurements on landings; the third was conducted by Ceesay et al (2013) using monthly length frequency data from Atlantic Seafood collected over the full year; and the last was conducted using research data on length frequency collected in a gillnet study over a one month period (Jallow et al.,2013). This document highlights the results of each stock assessment.
