The Rhode Island Renewable Energy Siting Partnership (RESP) is a state effort to provide siting guidance and data to local communities considering onshore renewable energy development. Insights gained through RESP will inform local deliberations about whether to pursue renewable energy opportunities and what to consider when siting onshore wind energy projects, including some of those pertaining to potential wind, hydro and solar proposals. The RESP is synthesizing information and resources and making tools available to stakeholders and decision makers so they can use the data. This is a collaborative effort with the Rhode Island Office of Energy Resources and the Rhode Island Statewide Planning Program. Learn more at www.RIEnergy.org.
