RESP: Rhode Island Renewable Energy Siting Partnership

Events

thundermist damThe Rhode Island Renewable Energy Siting Partnership (RESP) was a state effort to provide siting guidance and data to local communities considering onshore renewable energy development. Insights gained through  RESP have informed local deliberations about whether to pursue renewable energy opportunities and what to consider when siting onshore wind energy projects, including some of those pertaining to potential wind, hydro and solar proposals. The RESP synthesized information and resources and made tools available to stakeholders and decision makers so they could use the data. This was a collaborative effort with the Rhode Island Office of Energy Resources and the Rhode Island Statewide Planning Program.  Learn more at http://www.energy.ri.gov/
