NFWFlogo Created by Congress in 1984, the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation (NFWF) has become one of the world’s largest conservation grant-makers. It works with both the public and private sectors to protect and restore America’s fish, wildlife, plants and habitats. NFWF supports conservation efforts in all 50 states and U.S. territories with 14,000 projects funded to date. Financial commitments to its conservation mission top $2.9 billion. NFWF is funding CRC’s Rhode Island Green Infrastructure Project (RI GRIP).
