As part of the Greenwich Bay Special Area Management Plan (SAMP), a technical committee was formed to provide data and expertise on issues such as water quality, economics, habitats, cultural assets & public access, hazards, and recreational uses. The technical committee was comprised of members from government agencies, municipal and county officials, universities and public experts and met to collect data, identify current SAMP activities and to draft policies.
