Addressing Impacts of Freshwater Flows to Estuaries

Managing Freshwater Inflows to Estuaries: A Methods Guide (2006)

As part of the Fresh Water to Estuaries project, the Coastal Resources Center and The Nature Conservancy developed a guide to be used for assessing the impacts of changes to freshwater flows on river systems and estuaries and the design of governance options for protecting freshwater inflows. A supporting report summarized the lessons learned by applying and refining such methods at the project’s Mexican and Dominican Republic sites.
