The MPA Management Effectiveness Methodology will be tested in four CB-MPA field sites. Two are in Southern Leyte, Philippines (Maasin and Hinundayan). The other two sites are in North Sulawesi, Indonesia (Blongko and Serie). The Provincial Coastal Management Offices will assist the local communities in implementing their monitoring plans by providing training in how to apply the indicators and in analyzing the data for reporting. Results of the monitoring will be posted later this year.
