As part of the PROARCA Costas project, a series of evaluations and progress assessments were conducted, along with work to test tools and aid in the formulation of projects for the four PROARCA Costas sites, including the Gulf of Honduras, Gulf of Fonseca, Mosquitia (Honduras-Nicaragua) and the shared Caribbean marine area of Costa Rica and Panama (Bocas del Toro). This work was carried out in extensive collaboration with Emilio Ochoa and EcoCostas, a regional non-profit group based in Ecuador.
