CRC’s Jennifer McCann, director of U.S. programs, is quoted in the latest issue of URI’s alumni magazine “QuadAngles.” The article focuses on creation of the Rhode Island Ocean Special Area Management Plan (Ocean SAMP), which CRC facilitated, and the plan’s role in helping the state create a basis for regulating and managing the development of offshore renewable energy, all while ensuring the protection of the state’s valuable coastal and marine resources.
