Climate Change Adaptation for Municipalities: Newport, R.I.

Coastal communities are increasingly motivated to protect people and property from major storms, including hurricanes, and prepare for rising sea levels. CRC works with Rhode Island communities, such as the City of Newport, to identify priority assets – neighborhoods, business areas,  utilities and roadways, for instance – and develop practical policies and plans to increase their resiliency and adaptation to storms and rising water.
