This activity focused on working with the recreational marina industry to develop an industry code of conduct, to demonstrate a “Clean Marina” approach in an existing harbor, and to contribute to marina development policies for the Gulf of California region and at the national level.

This activity produced a bilingual English-Spanish website entitled Guide to Good Environmental Management Practices for Marinas in Mexico or GUÍA TÉCNICA DE BUENAS PRÁCTICAS AMBIENTALES PARA LA OPERACIÓN DE LAS MARINAS TURÍSTICAS EN MÉXICO, a technical guide to best management practices for Mexico Marinas.
